The tests of a good hymn are in the questions;

- Does it express well your feelings?

- Does it say to God what you want?

- Does it tell you what God wants you to know?

- Does it give you faith in good times and hope trouble?

Please now think about your favourite hymn and answer:

When has it meant most in your life?

What have you said through it’s words?

What has it given you in reply?

Then reread its words in faith
